Michelle Obama Speaks to School Counselors

College readiness was just put in the spotlight by Michelle Obama when she addressed the American School Counselor Association. Speaking at their Annual Conference in July, the First Lady discussed her Reach Higher Initiative, her effort to inspire students to complete their education past high school. As ASCA wrote, “Regardless of your political affiliation, having school counseling recognized as so vital by the White House is a boost to the profession.”
