Bus O’Fun Tour 2017 to Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee

The IACAC Bus O’Fun will depart from College of DuPage on Sunday morning to visit the following colleges and universities in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee:

The IACAC Bus O’Fun serves high school counselors, independent consultants working with high school students, and graduate students earning a degree in high school counseling.

The registration deadline is Friday, January 27, 2017. Priority will be given to IACAC members.


$450 for IACAC members
$500 for non-members

$250 non-refundable deposit due Friday, January 27, 2017.
Balance of fees must be paid in full by Friday, March 24, 2017.
Space is limited and seats will not be confirmed without a deposit.

What’s Included

Most meals, snacks, overnight accommodations (two participants per room, no single rooms available), materials/handouts, and bus transportation to and from College of DuPage.


There will be two $200 grants available for high school counselors who assist underrepresented students. Preference will be given to high school counselors that have not received a grant in the past and must presently be IACAC members.

Graduate Credit

Two hours of graduate credit will be available through Lewis University. Total cost for two credit hours will be $550 ($250 per credit hour plus a $50 technology fee). 12 ISBE Professional Development hours are also available to participants.


Please be aware that this is an active tour as we will be visiting 2-3 colleges a day. Participants should expect warm weather, full days, and walking tours on each campus. Specific travel details will be sent to the group after registration closes.

Any participants traveling from outside of Illinois are responsible for their own travel and lodging before and after the trip. All participants MUST begin and end with the group.
