Frequently Asked Questions

+How will the change in NACAC Assembly size affect IACAC?
The number of delegates to the NACAC Assembly is based on a proportional formula of NACAC members within each affiliate, while providing all affiliates with a minimum of three delegates, including a president. At the 2010 NACAC Annual Membership Meeting, the size of the Assembly was reduced. IACAC will likely see a reduction from 13 delegates to 11 delegates in the coming year, based on this new formula. This number will stay fixed for the next three election cycles.
+Can a member self-nominate for IACAC positions?
Absolutely! We encourage interested members to nominate themselves for positions.
+What are the responsibilities of an IACAC Board member?
Executive Board members should attend all regular meetings and follow the guidelines within the IACAC By-Laws for each specific position. Some Board positions also require individuals to chair or serve on IACAC standing committees.
