Voting membership is
extended to individuals employed by not-for-profit
elementary or secondary schools, colleges, or universities
in Illinois. An out-of-state college or university
(not-for-profit) that maintains a facility in Illinois
or has a professional admission counselor residing
in the state is also eligible for voting membership.
Independent counselors, service organizations, and
retired members may also join as voting members.
Non-voting
membership is extended to students, out-of-state colleges
and universities, and subscriber organizations whose
interests are, in the opinion of the Executive Board,
in accordance with the purposes of the association.
