Cadre Program

The Cadre Program is designed for professionals who cannot take the time out of their building, or who do not have the resources to attend other professional development opportunities, such as IACAC District Seminars or the IACAC Annual Conference. The Cadre Program provides IACAC expert speakers who travel to your school for an in-service day or short presentations on a topic of your choice. There is no charge for this service.

Some of the topics in the past have included:

  • How to write a strong letter of recommendation
  • Financial aid information
  • Undocumented student issues
  • First generation student challenges
  • Class rank and weighted grades

The topics are endless. If your school is interested in this program, please fill out the Cadre Request Form and an IACAC representative will contact you to further discuss your topic and being search for a presenter. Thank you for using this service, and please continue to utilize the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling for your professional development needs.
