Candidate Slate for 2024-2025

IACAC Members,

The Nominating Committee and I are pleased to announce the 2024-2025 slate of candidates. We worked to create a diverse and inclusive slate that represents the membership of IACAC to serve on the Executive Board. As an association, we are only as strong as our members and we are grateful for these candidates to potentially serve in the following leadership positions for the 2024-2025 year:

President-elect – vote for 1
Treasurer-elect – vote for 1
Secretary-elect – vote for 1
4 Board Directors – vote for 3 secondary, vote for 1 postsecondary

April Lynch will be single-slated to finish a one-year term due to a vacancy she was appointed to in January 2024.

Electronic ballots will open at the recess of the Annual Membership meeting on Wednesday, April 24th and close at 10:00 AM CT on Thursday, April 25th. If you are not able to vote during that timeframe, please email Erin Hoover at ehoover@iacac.org to request a proxy ballot by April 15th at 5:00 PM CT.

*In January of 2023, Joe Freeman stepped down from his Executive Board position. Per the by-laws, the President, Paul Welsh, with the approval of the Executive Board, appointed April to take Joe’s place for the remainder of this year. As is tradition, April will then be single-slated on the upcoming ballot so that she may finish Joe’s term and the good work already in progress.
